Clinical Governance in Learning Disability Services: How to make it work in practice

The seminar "Clinical Governance in Learning Disability Services: How to make it work in practice" is to be held on Monday 19th May 2008 at the Wrexham Medical Institute Lecture Theatre, Wrexham at 2pm - 4pm. 

The seminar will be presented by Dr Bunny Forsyth, Consultant Psychiatrist / Clinical Governance Chair for Castlebeck and Mr Neil Wattret, Hospital Manager / Clinical Governance Lead for MHC.

New Ward at New Hall Independent Hospital

New HallClwyd Ward at New Hall Independent Hospital in Ruabon, Wrexham has been redeveloped into an eight bed Intensive Nursing Support Ward.

The new ward at the male-only hospital, which is registered to admit adults with a functional mental illness and mild learning disability, is a locked door service.

MHC launch a six month pilot scheme for respite care

MHC strives progressively to develop services and as a response to the demand from referrers, purchasers and local services has developed a six month pilot scheme for respite care at Highfield Park, Llandyrnog.

Cedar Activity Centre, Highfield Park
